Senior Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering

Join our Site Reliability Engineering team to work on Google's public services, including Search, Ads, Gmail, Android, YouTube, and AppEngine. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll design, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems, and lead projects and provide technical leadership. You'll engage in the whole lifecycle of services, from inception to deployment and refinement, and maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
• 3 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• 2 years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership
