Senior Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineering

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development and 2+ years of experience in technical leadership. The team works on Google's public services such as Search, Ads, Gmail, Android, and YouTube, and is responsible for keeping them up and running despite outages and configuration problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
• 3 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• 2 years of experience leading projects and providing technical leadership
