Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control.

Requirements

• Minimum of four to six years related experience;
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required;
• Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred;
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) preferred;
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, cost accounting, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and internal control analysis;
• Advanced ability to analyze financial data, value information, and generate reports to identify trends and guide decision-making;
• Proven experience working with and manipulating large datasets;
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and lookups;
• Excellent investigative and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail and data integrity;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team;
• Technologically adaptable with a strong capacity to learn new systems and processes;
• Embodies a customer-service attitude, integrity, and a strong drive for results in alignment with GFS Cornerstone Values;
• Experience supporting team management or reviewing the work of others is a plus;
