Job Description
Gorilla is a data solutions provider transforming the energy industry with SaaS solutions for data processing and analysis. The Calculation Algorithms Team focuses on building intelligence for customers across energy sector operations, designing, and scaling algorithms and data solutions for forecasting, pricing, and optimization. This role involves bridging market knowledge with engineering for effective platform operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying algorithms in production environments
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with SQL, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Dask, Polars, DuckDB, or PySpark
- Experience designing, building, maintaining, and evolving microservice architectures
- Experience working with large-scale or high-frequency datasets
- Familiarity with SaaS or software product environments, and energy or strong motivation
- Collaboration and pragmatic mindset
