Situational Houseparents

Goshen Valley Foundation is seeking passionate and mission-minded couples to join as new Goshen Valley Boys Ranch Houseparents. This role involves providing support for youth in a residential setting, assisting with tasks like teaching skills, and ensuring safety and well-being of the residents. Goshen Valley Boys Ranch is a leading provider of services for children and families in northern Cherokee County.

Requirements

• One or both of the couple must have, or be working toward gaining, a bachelor's Degree, or have a minimum of three years of experience houseparenting for a youth care agency.
• Must have a demonstrated understanding and ability to work with youth struggling with emotional/behavioral disorders at an AWO/MWO level.
• Must be of good character and supportive of Goshen Valley Foundation's programs.
• Must pass a drug and background check, possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable.
• Must hold first aid and CPR certification or be willing to obtain it.
• Current or previous experience with TCI, CPI or Safety Care certification preferred.
