Transportation Manager

Transportation Manager directs the activities associated with up to 30 Delivery Drivers and supervisory personnel, responsible for strategic overview and implementation of projects, expense and revenue management, compliance with government regulations, and management of operations and staff.

Requirements

• Directs the daily work and safety of Delivery Drivers, supervisors, routing personnel and other associates.
• Ensures that management staff is effectively managing day-to-day delivery activities.
• Ensures Delivery Associate compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
• Prepares budget, profit plans, and capital requests as required.
• Interprets trains and consistently enforces Company policies and procedures.
• Must have excellent computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
