Job Description
Gowling WLG is seeking a Principal Associate to join their Pensions team in London, known for exceptional legal advice and training. The role involves advising trustees, insurers, and employers on pension matters, including risk transfer and legal review. This is a senior position requiring experience in pensions risk transfer and business development.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with 6+ years' PQE
- Experience in pensions advisory (trustee & sponsor)
- Proven track record of advising across pension risk transfer
- Successfully managed and supervised junior lawyers
- Excellent understanding of pension legislation
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Experience in business development and marketing
- Understanding of financial management
- Solid understanding of technical legal issues
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
