Job Description
Grab is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager II to lead and build the Malaysia engineering team for its Insurance Operations PST. The candidate will establish the team, drive technical delivery for Insurance products, and oversee operational support functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with strong coding skills in Java/Go and React
- 3+ years managing teams of 5 or more engineers, with demonstrated success in coaching and developing individuals
- Experience in building and scaling engineering teams from the ground up
- Deep understanding of scalable architectures, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS)
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate across cultures and regions
- Experience working with global teams on cross-regional projects
