Grab is looking for an experienced backend engineer to collaborate with team members in different locations and build core map service to help our driver partners to finish their jobs in a most effective way.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering in a distributed systems environment.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
- Experience in developing and maintaining large scale micro-services.
- Proficient in LiDAR-based multi-sensor fusion SLAM for high-precision mapping and localization.
- Familiar with multi-sensor fusion frameworks integrating camera, LiDAR, IMU, GPS and other positioning sensors.
- Solid experience in visual reconstruction and in-depth knowledge of Visual-SLAM systems.
- Skilled in point cloud coloring, texture mapping and 3D reconstruction technologies.
- Capable of automatic map element detection and intelligent annotation for digital maps.
- Hands-on experience in LiDAR perception algorithm development, productization and deployment is a strong plus.
