Job Description
Grab is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Backend to collaborate with the team in building core map service for drivers in Southeast Asia. The role involves designing and enhancing cutting-edge services in GO language, working with the engineering team, and participating in code reviews. The team aims to create a leading O2O platform in Southeast Asia, providing Geo capabilities for different business verticals.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering in a distributed systems environment.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
- Experience in developing and maintaining large scale micro-services.
- Proficient in LiDAR-based multi-sensor fusion SLAM for high-precision mapping and localization.
- Familiar with multi-sensor fusion frameworks integrating camera, LiDAR, IMU, GPS and other positioning sensors.
- Solid experience in visual reconstruction and in-depth knowledge of Visual-SLAM systems.
- Skilled in point cloud coloring, texture mapping and 3D reconstruction technologies.
- Capable of automatic map element detection and intelligent annotation for digital maps.
