Physician-OB/GYN

The OB/GYN is a physician who specializes in Women’s Healthcare and is trained to target reproductive health, family planning, pregnancy, fetal development, labor and delivery, surgery, menopause, hormonal disorders, and disease as applicable.

Requirements

• Must be licensed as a Medical Doctor in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and hold a class 2-5 certification with the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).
• Typically, this includes a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited university and documented clinical rotations, residencies, fellowships, etc. Completed residency is strongly preferred.
• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• 4-year OB-GYN residency
• 2 plus years practicing medicine in a hospital or private practice
• Current BLS/CPR certificate
