Regulatory Economics - Associate Director / Senior Manager

Grant Thornton is looking for an experienced Regulatory Economist to join their Economic Consulting division in London. The successful candidate will have significant experience working in the UK regulatory sector, including experience working with senior level clients/stakeholders. The role involves leading projects for clients across a range of regulatory economic matters, producing quality economic analysis, and communicating complex concepts effectively to clients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Significant experience working in the UK regulatory sector
• Experience working with senior level clients/stakeholders
• Experience in the energy sector, or in another regulated sector coupled with an interest in the energy sector
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of presenting complex arguments to a range of stakeholders
• Experience working on price controls, including regulatory policy development, cost assessment, and regulatory finance
• Experience with business development
• Experience developing teams and managing people
