The Process Control Engineer Advisor will support daily and breakdown maintenance activities, provide process control engineering and configuration resources, and serve as a process control advocate.
Requirements
- Support daily and breakdown maintenance activities
- Provide process control engineering and configuration resources for capital projects
- Support of process control systems after hours and on rotating on call duty
- Review and create documentation for new and existing systems
- Monitor control system reliability and process variability
- Lead software upgrades to the mill DCS systems
- Serve as process control advocate working with corporate and local IT groups
- Role models safe behavior and practices, participates in safety activities
- Develops and leads preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
- Assesses overall system health continually through diagnostics and other system tools
- Reviews spare parts to ensure an adequate number of compatible parts are maintained
- Develops and documents maintenance/troubleshooting procedures
