Process Control Engineer Advisor

The Process Control Engineer Advisor will support daily and breakdown maintenance activities, provide process control engineering and configuration resources, and serve as a process control advocate.

Requirements

• Support daily and breakdown maintenance activities
• Provide process control engineering and configuration resources for capital projects
• Support of process control systems after hours and on rotating on call duty
• Review and create documentation for new and existing systems
• Monitor control system reliability and process variability
• Lead software upgrades to the mill DCS systems
• Serve as process control advocate working with corporate and local IT groups
• Role models safe behavior and practices, participates in safety activities
• Develops and leads preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
• Assesses overall system health continually through diagnostics and other system tools
• Reviews spare parts to ensure an adequate number of compatible parts are maintained
• Develops and documents maintenance/troubleshooting procedures
