Job Description
GTG Peterbilt – Wichita, KS is seeking a Diesel Technician to perform service and repair on heavy duty trucks. The company values quality, dedication, and employee growth and offers a full suite of maintenance and repair services. Responsibilities include performing inspections, repairs, vehicle maintenance, engine overhauls, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
Requirements
- Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic test, identifying deficiencies.
- Test equipment after repair or assembly, perform necessary adjustments.
- Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
- Maintain cost efficiency by using warranty and evaluating service & parts options.
- Maintain vehicle records with accurate documentation.
- Complete engine overhauls and other repairs identified during the diagnostic process.
