Experienced Diesel Technician - 2nd Shift

GTG Peterbilt – Wichita, KS is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician for their 2nd shift. This role involves performing service and repair on heavy-duty trucks, including new and used models. Requirements

• Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic test.
• Test equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
• Perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain cost efficiency by using warranty, evaluating service & parts options.
• Maintain vehicle records with an accurate documentation of service and repairs.
• Complete engine overhauls as well as other repairs identified during the diagnostic process.
• Read schematics for electrical and air systems.
• Use good judgment to maintain a safe & organized work environment.
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new & different requests.
