Job Description
GrayMatter Robotics is seeking an Automation Engineer to join their Full Stack Software team in Carson, CA. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining internal IT automation systems, managing cloud resources, and ensuring secure environments. The Engineer will collaborate with various teams to deliver efficient IT support and tools for internal users and customers. The position focuses on scaling and strengthening IT infrastructure to support business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT systems administration, automation engineering, or DevOps
- Proficiency in Linux
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with IT automation/configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Scripting ability in at least one language (Python, Shell, or PowerShell)
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or similar)
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
