The Chef de Partie at Gordon Ramsay Steak is responsible for working in a specific section of the kitchen, reporting directly to the Sous Chef. This role requires culinary experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and brand standards.
- Prepare mis en place and other products as required for a fine dining experience.
- Ensure consistency and quality in every dish served, maintaining the restaurant's high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory checks, and ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
- Work closely with the Sous Chef, Chef de Tournant and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment in the section is properly maintained and cleaned.
- Communicate effectively with the previous and next shift to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Develop and cultivate strong working relationships with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Follow waste management procedures to minimize waste and manage food costs.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health, and safety regulations at all times.
