Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a Personal Trainer to guide clients on their fitness journey. The role involves providing one-on-one training, conducting consultations, and creating individualized exercise programs. Strong customer service skills and a passion for health are essential.
Requirements
- Knowledge of anatomy, functional exercise, basic nutrition, and basic exercise science.
- Ability to motivate others to improve their overall fitness and health.
- Build effective relationships with clients.
- Conduct fitness consultations (pre-participation screening, medical history, etc.).
- Develop individualized exercise programs.
- Demonstrate and teach exercises.
- Instruct clients on safe and effective exercise techniques.
- Maintain accurate personal training records.
- Track and Redeem client training sessions.
- Assist with special events and promote packages.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified.
