Greater Peoria Family YMCA is a nonprofit community organization that offers a range of youth development, fitness, and recreational programs, including swim team coaching and after-school activities, to promote health, wellness, and character building among residents of the Greater Peoria area.

Basketball Specialist
CPR/AED certification, 18+ years of age, YMCA knowledge is a must. Knowledge of program standards is also crucial
Assistant Swim Team Coach
18+ years old. 1+ year coaching experience. Ability to work independently. Must have CPR and first aid
Teen Reach Assistant
High school degree, responsible team member. Must have compassion, responsibility and a good attitude. Must perform duties for care and maintenance of program
Custodian
Meet height and weight requirements, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, and hold a valid driver’s license (if applicable). Prior cleaning experience preferred
Personal Trainer
Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology/related field preferred. Must be certified and have demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, nutrition, and exercise. CPR/AED certification required
Youth Program Site Lead
Strong communication skills, CPR/First Aid/Child Health Knowledge, and YMCA understanding are needed. Must be physically able to perform duties and be adaptable to stressful situations
Swim Instructor
CPR/AED/First Aid certification within 6 months. 16+ yrs of age required. Strong communication and swimming instructor skills are needed
Wellness Center Attendant
CPR/First Aid & AED/Bloodborne training within 30 days. Good communication skills required. YMCA Competencies (Leader) required (Mission, Collaboration, Operational Effectiveness, Personal Growth)
Youth Program Site Assistant - Elmwood Elementary
High school diploma or willingness to obtain one. Current CPR/First Aid certification. Strong language and communication skills
