Job Description
The Youth Program Site Assistant at Elmwood Elementary provides leadership and fosters a positive environment within the program sites. The role is focused on promoting relationships, encouraging self-esteem, and demonstrating character development in children and youth. Responsibilities include assisting in lesson planning, overseeing activities, maintaining program compliance, and reporting any problems. Requires CPR/First Aid certification and a strong commitment to YMCA values.
Requirements
- High school diploma or willingness to obtain one
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong language and communication skills
- Ability to relate to children and staff
