Job Description
The Greater Philadelphia YMCA is looking for a Dance Instructor to join their team. The job requires 2-3 years of specialized dance experience and the ability to work with people of various ages. The instructor will be responsible for leading dance programs and providing a safe and supportive environment for participants.
Requirements
- 18+ years of age
- Some college or equivalent
- 2-3 years Specialized Dance experience
- Ability to work with and be sensitive to others while always portraying a positive style of instruction
- Desire to mentor program participants of a variety of ages
- Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention
- Ability to physically assist (spot) the program participant through skills with a clear understanding of developing the athlete
