Job Description
The Adaptive Programming Coordinator at Somerset Hills supports the Somerset County YMCA, a leading nonprofit focused on strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. This role involves administrative tasks related to adaptive programming while simultaneously creating a safe and positive environment for members. The Coordinator will plan, oversee, and expand adaptive programs, provide guidance to participants with disabilities, and collaborate with various teams to enhance program offerings and support services.
Requirements
- Plan, oversee, and expand adaptive programs (fitness, arts, music, etc.)
- Provide guidance to individuals with developmental, behavioral, and/or physical disabilities
- Adapt activities to accommodate unique needs and abilities
- Assist with program implementation and evaluation
- Perform other duties as assigned
