Requirements

• Design foundry tooling for new launches and continuous improvement projects
• Design gages and fixtures for core room, foundry, finishing and machining
• Oversee sampling and testing of new and reworked tooling
• Audit manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with IATF 2015:16949
• Manage tooling builds at outside pattern shops and machine shops
• Champion continuous improvement projects to increase productivity and reduce scrap
• Maintain conformance with company policies, work rules and regulations
• Maintain awareness of improved operational methods, production processes, or equipment
• Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail
• Perform customer service work as required
• Extend treatment to all other employees of the company as individuals with courtesy and dignity
• Exhibit superior safety practices every day
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality
• Perform all duties as requested by supervisor/manager
