Quality Assurance

Hinterland Brewery is seeking a quality assurance professional to maintain high standards in production and processing. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, hardworking individual with a passion for craft beer and a desire to learn. Responsibilities include monitoring fermentation, analyzing packaging, testing for contaminants, and ensuring laboratory procedures are followed. Flexibility and a willingness to work long hours are required.

Requirements

• College degree in Science (Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, Food Science)
• Working brewing knowledge and/or certification from an accredited institution
• QA/QC laboratory experience
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a team
• Physical ability to perform tasks safely with moderate lifting and standing, and ability to sit, stand, walk, and stoop.
