Agronomist

As an agronomist, you will support the adoption of regenerative, sustainable agricultural practices among smallholder farmers in project regions, improving soil health, increasing yields, and contributing to ecosystem restoration.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agricultural extension and rural development, or a related discipline
• Field experience working with smallholder or rural farmers, ideally in developing or semi-rural contexts
• Practical understanding of soil restoration, agroecological methods, and sustainable agriculture
• Strong communication, training, and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and self-reliant, comfortable working in rural and field-based environments
