Job Description
Night Shift Manufacturing Supervisor responsible for managing daily production, employee supervision, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Meet daily manpower and scheduling requirements
- Meet overall performance measures of the shift
- Provide on-the-job training to employees
- Maintain and uphold all quality standards of the organization
- Maintain an accurate record of all production activities
- Evaluate team performance
- Troubleshoot processes, equipment, and quality problems
- Initiate new job start-ups when required
- Effectively manage scrap control and reduction
- Engage in plan development and implementation
- Delegate work to subordinates when necessary
- Complete necessary documentation and file appropriately
- Ensure that all completed orders are closed out and the product is transferred to the correct location
- Required attendance at daily production meetings
- Must maintain current certification for First Aid/CPR/AED
- Interact with Maintenance to maximize efficiency of all production lines
