Job Description
The tool grinder is responsible for receiving tooling drawings, developing cutting tools, and inspecting finished tools to verify specifications. Additionally, the tool crib attendant is responsible for storing and retrieving tooling required for manufacturing while maintaining traceability.
Requirements
- Operating manual grinding machines to grind and sharpen production tooling
- Setting up and operating manual O.D. grinders and surface grinders
- Building, assembling, and repairing cutting tools
