Facilities Maintenance Technician III

Performs ongoing facility maintenance and completes repairs on equipment, ensures facilities are maintained in a clean and orderly manner, and completes maintenance forms and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years' experience preferred
• Ability to communicate in English (read, write and speak)
• Ability to understand the methods, techniques and practices outlined on the manufacturers' maintenance documents, specifications, and other data acceptable to maintain the facility and tooling
• Basic mathematical knowledge and ability to apply towards problem solving
• Knowledge of the proper use of chemicals
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization
• Basic knowledge of building HVAC and plumbing
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules and regulations
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to select and work with proper tools for job task
• Possession of a valid state of Texas driver license
• Ability to work well independently
• Ability to travel as required
• Ability to work overtime as required
