Job Description
The Field Technician II will independently perform major repairs to material handling equipment to the customer’s satisfaction while in the field. The role involves troubleshooting engines, engine fuel systems, transmissions, and other components, as well as performing safety checks and using hand and power tools to repair and test parts/equipment.
Requirements
- High school education or GED
- Six years of experience with at least two years of experience on Hyster, Yale, Clark, or other similar equipment
- Advanced in at least four mechanical systems (i.e. transmissions, engines, hydraulics, etc.) for numerous model lines
- Ability to lift/position various parts to perform repairs/service and manually handle parts up to 95 pounds
- Valid state driver’s license and safe driving record
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or DOT medical certification may be required for some positions
