Staff Software Engineer, Grid Intelligence

Gridware is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design and build core software systems that power its platform, from backend services to front-end tools. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software engineering, proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL, and experience mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• Design and develop full-stack systems in collaboration with data science, operations, and firmware teams
• Drive critical technical decisions on system design and own the technical vision for initiatives
• Establish and champion engineering standards
• Mentor engineers at all levels
• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer with production systems across frontend and backend
• Deep experience in designing and scaling distributed data-intensive systems
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL (or similar modern stack)
• Experience mentoring engineers and seeing them grow into senior technical roles
