Job Description
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and enable the GROPYUS Smart Living and Smart Building experience through scalable systems, working with Linux-based IoT and edge systems, IoT connectivity, and cloud services. You will own critical systems that turn buildings into intelligent, data-driven environments.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Linux-based systems in production environments
- Knowledge of IoT connectivity technologies (WiâFi, BLE, Zigbee, Thread, LoRaWAN, NBâIoT, 5G)
- Hands-on experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, WebSockets or building standards like Matter, KNX, BACnet, Modbus, ZâWave
- Hands-on experience with IoT, embedded systems, or edge computing
- Solid understanding of distributed and event-driven architectures
- Experience operating systems with large fleets of connected devices
- Proficiency in Kotlin, Python, TypeScript
- Experience with containers, cloud platforms, and infrastructure components (e.g. PostgreSQL, Redis, message brokers)
- Experience with telemetry, streaming data, and timeâseries data
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to take ownership
