Job Description
Group 1001 is a consumer-centric, technology-driven family of insurance companies looking for a Society of Actuaries member with ASA designation to join the Annuity Pricing team as an Actuarial Analyst. This role plays a key role in building and maintaining models for new product development, product management, and regulatory needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, finance, economics, math, statistics, physics, engineering or related field.
- A minimum of 2+ years actuarial experience in a professional setting.
- Society of Actuaries ASA designation
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication (oral/written), project management, and solution finding skills.
- Proficiency in Excel (including VBA) and database tools (Microsoft Access, SQL, Python, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with actuarial software (ALFA, Triton, and/or CASE preferred).
- Self-starter with the ability to balance multiple projects and priorities and meet deadlines.
