Middle School English Teacher 2026-2027 Candidate Pool

Grow Public Schools is seeking a Middle School English Teacher to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a CA state Multiple or Single subject teaching credential or intern credential, with an English Learner Authorization. The teacher will develop empowering classroom environments, implement standards-aligned lessons, and collaborate with colleagues to provide a rigorous academic program. They will also work with the Edible Schoolyard team and learning lab staff to ensure school-wide goals are met. The teacher will participate in weekly instructional coaching activities and provide experiential learning opportunities, including integration with the Edible Schoolyard curriculum and project-based learning framework.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree
• A CA state Multiple or Single subject teaching credential or intern credential, with an English Learner Authorization
• Demonstrated mastery of classroom skills including classroom management, planning, assessment and instructional practice
• Proficiency with various technologies and teaching tools
• Bilingual ability preferred but not required
