Job Description
Senior Policy Manager role at GSMA Africa, responsible for developing and delivering an advocacy agenda to support the organization's efforts to advance public policy interests at the country and sub-regional levels. The role involves developing relationships with policymakers, regulators, and other stakeholders, analyzing and assessing policy and regulation, and contributing to GSMA policy positions.
Requirements
- Experience in regulatory or advocacy functions in the telecom sector
- Strong understanding of the mobile industry and the policy and regulatory landscape in the Southern African sub-region
- Demonstrable experience in analysing the business impact of policy and regulatory decisions on the mobile sector and designing advocacy campaigns to affect that impact
