Physician Ortho Surgery Coder

Code surgical operative reports and hospital E/M for Ortho Physicians, code Ortho office visits with procedures as applicable, and work associated ortho coding denials including drafting of appeals as requested.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• CPC from the AAPC
• 3+ years Orthopedic Surgery coding experience
• Proficiency working in multiple EMRs such as Epic, NextGen and/or Cerner
• Good written and oral communication skills
