Job Description
The Patient Access Representative is responsible for pre-admitting and admitting patients to the hospital, verifying insurance benefits, and collecting money at time of service. The position requires exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Experience or training in healthcare office setting and customer relations
- Ability to work cooperatively with other employees, other departments, and the public
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and concentrate in a busy environment
- Ability to use common computer system and business software
