Back Office Specialist

The Back Office Specialist role is responsible for supporting the deal life-cycle process through timely verification of derivatives' or physical energy trade data, drafting and delivery of contracts, and operational delivery of carbon/emissions/green units/certificates. Responsibilities include daily verification of trading activity, reconciliation of open positions, regulatory reporting, and interaction with counterparty contacts and internal stakeholders. The role also requires participation in UAT testing of IT systems and good communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or similar
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in Back Office (banking, commodity trading or similar)
• Microsoft Office advanced user (especially Excel)
• Knowledge and/or experience in financial markets is highly beneficial
• Good stress resilience
• Team player and able to work independently
• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Second major European language is beneficial
