BSBI Berlin is seeking a Freelancer Lecturer in Metaverse Technologies for their Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics. The role requires a PhD or PhD candidate with expertise in areas like Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Metaverse Development, along with prior teaching experience and strong communication skills. Requirements

• PhD or PhD Candidate
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Applied Digital Transformation, Metaverse Development, Content Creation and Management in Digital Platforms, or Secure Digital Media Systems
• Prior teaching experience in higher education
• Very good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
• Scientific publications in a related discipline
• Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level)
• Knowledge of German is desirable
• Knowledge of Educational Platforms (i.e. Canvas, Blackboard etc.)
• Working knowledge of timetabling software
• Sound knowledge of study regulations and rules
• Very good organisational and communication skills
• High social competence and assertiveness
• Ability to maintain an overview with high workloads
• Entrepreneurial and economic way of thinking and working
• Resilient and flexible
• Motivated for further academic and professional development
