Lecturer for the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics – BSBI Berlin (Freelancer)

BSBI Berlin is seeking a Freelancer, Part-time Lecturer for their Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD or be a PhD Candidate with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in areas like Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or Robotics. They should have prior teaching experience, excellent communication skills, and be proficient in Windows OS and MS Office. Requirements

• PhD or PhD Candidate
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in at least two of the listed areas
• Prior teaching experience in higher education
• Very good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams
• Scientific publications in a related discipline
• Fluent in spoken and written English (C2 level)
• Knowledge of German (desirable)
• Knowledge of Educational Platforms (i.e. Canvas, Blackboard etc.)
• Working knowledge of timetabling software
• Sound knowledge of study regulations and rules
• Very good organizational and communication skills
• High social competence and assertiveness
