Job Description
Prepares and stains microscopic tissue slides from surgical and autopsy specimens for microscopic examination by pathologist to render diagnosis.
Requirements
- Minimum of associate's degree required
- Must be eligible for certification as a Histotechnician by the Board of Registry (ASCP) or HT (ASCP)
- High school diploma required
