Job Description
The Oncology nurse provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients and is responsible for delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, and evidence-based quality care.
Requirements
- 2 years of practice as a registered nurse in an acute care setting
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate required as soon as the RN is eligible
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
