Job Description
GXO is seeking a talented Engineer, Automation to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions. This role involves analyzing labor data, designing automation systems, and improving operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will work in a collaborative environment focused on driving productivity and delivering ROI.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
- 1 year of experience in high-volume operations and distribution-related work
- Experience implementing all types of sorters and goods-to-person systems, including high-density automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), carousels and robotic systems
- Experience with simulation software, 3D modeling/drawing and designing components and system parts
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Mini Tab and Six Sigma analysis tools
