Entry Level Civil/Dam Safety Engineer

GZA is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Civil/Dam Safety Engineer to join our Dam and Levee Safety Group in Fairfield, NJ. As an Entry-Level Civil/Dam Safety Engineer, you will bring your expertise and unique solutions to highly visible and challenging projects.

Requirements

• Performing construction phase services for dam and levee rehabilitation projects and conducting fieldwork including dam and levee safety inspections.
• Data collection, organization and interpretation in support of dam/levee inspections, evaluations, and rehabilitation projects.
• Executing various engineering analyses, under the direction of a senior engineer to support dam rehabilitation and decommissioning.
• Writing drafts of field reports, inspection/engineering reports, technical specifications, and permit applications.
• Preparing construction plans.
• Performing cost/quantity estimates and project scheduling.
• Communicating effectively and efficiently with contractors, clients and team members.
