The Accounting and Compliance Associate is responsible for managing the revenue process, performing accounting duties, and supporting the compliance function.
Requirements
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Apply customer payments to accounts receivable.
- Review and reconcile billing discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Analyze billing data and provide reports to management.
- Record vendor payments and disbursements.
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries regarding billing and payment issues.
- Support preparation of journal entries as required.
- Maintain compliance files, logs, and databases.
- Provide administrative support for regulatory, compliance and financial filings.
- Draft correspondence with state agencies as required.
- Submit digital and physical regulatory and compliance filings.
- Handle incoming mail for distribution to appropriate department.
- Assist Accounting and Compliance functions as required.
