Department Manager | Mechanical

H2M architects and engineers is seeking a Department Manager to join their White Plains, NY office. The ideal candidate will direct projects, manage client relations, and develop and manage the Mechanical team on overall HVAC design/project management responsibilities.

Requirements

• Direct and manage the Mechanical Engineering department
• Oversee staff workload and ensure timely completion of projects
• Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments
• Project supervision and coordination with other engineering and architecture departments
• Client relationship building and communication
• Technical leadership, production, and scheduling
• Quality control and cost proposals
• Participate in business development initiatives
• Lead/Attend project meetings and review contractor submittals
