Department Manager | Mechanical

H2M architects and engineers is seeking a Department Manager to join our well-established Troy, NY office. We seek a dynamic professional engineer to direct projects, manage client relations, and develop and manage our Mechanical team on overall HVAC design/project management responsibilities.

Requirements

• Direct and manage the Mechanical Engineering department
• Oversee staff workload and ensure the timely completion of all Mechanical/HVAC projects
• Review and approve scopes, budgets and schedules for assignments
• Project supervision and coordination with other engineering and architecture departments
• Client relationship building
• Technical leadership, production and scheduling, quality control and cost proposals
• Participate in business development initiatives
• Nurture client relationships
• Lead/Attend project meetings
• Other functions/duties as assigned
