Job Description
H2M architects and engineers is seeking a Department Manager to join our well-established Troy, NY office. We seeks a dynamic professional engineer to direct projects, manage client relations, and develop and manage our Mechanical team (at various levels) on overall HVAC design/project management responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer license required.
- 20+ years of overall MEP experience, with strong focus on HVAC projects, in a consulting firm;
- Must have at least 10 years devoted to project management and development/oversight of staff.
- Prior experience working with local municipalities/government agencies.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and management skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize Mechanical projects of various complexity levels;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
