Project Water/Wastewater Engineer

Project Water/Wastewater Engineer job opportunity at H2M architects + engineers, seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong technical backgrounds in water resources, stormwater, and wastewater systems.

Requirements

• Perform engineering work in various engineering fields with an emphasis on water and wastewater treatment process through design to construction
• Lead engineering evaluations, execute design calculations, and prepare reports, plans, and specifications with support of senior level engineering staff
• Conduct construction administration and on-site resident support activities, including construction phase management activities, coordination of shop drawing reviews and RFI responses, and lead the development of construction change orders
• Perform detailed engineering calculations and analysis
• Lead administrative and project management related tasks for various engineering design projects, including management of subconsultants
• Lead development of construction documents (plans and specifications)
• Manage project budgets and delivery schedules
• Coordinate with other engineering and architecture departments
• Conduct field investigations and inspections
• Check performance or conformity with plans and specifications through field inspection and testing
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
• Interface with clients and construction managers
• Assist with business development, proposal writing, and budgeting
