Project Water/Wastewater Engineer

H2M architects + engineers is seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong technical backgrounds in water resources, stormwater, and wastewater systems for its Water and Wastewater Engineering team in Melville, NY.

Requirements

• Perform engineering work in various engineering fields with an emphasis on water and wastewater treatment process through design to construction
• Lead engineering evaluations, execute design calculations, and prepare reports, plans, and specifications with support of senior level engineering staff
• Conduct construction administration and on-site resident support activities
• Perform detailed engineering calculations and analysis
• Lead administrative and project management related tasks for various engineering design projects
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
• Interface with clients and construction managers
• Assist with business development, proposal writing, and budgeting
