Job Description
The Construction Assistant position involves overseeing construction tasks and projects, managing volunteers, and working collaboratively with the Site Supervisor to uphold safety, partnership, quality, and team participation standards. This role requires strong leadership ability, interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, and taking initiative to learn and grow in the knowledge and skills required to be a Construction Crew Leader.
Requirements
- Assist Site Supervisor in new construction of homes across all phases and in all weather conditions
- Assume leadership roles both during volunteer workdays, and preparing materials for projects
- Plan for each workday to ensure that all necessary resources are available to complete the task list
